JODIE BARKER

Jodie Barker serves as Director of Human Resources at Gunderson Marine & Iron, bringing more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience across manufacturing and other complex, multi-location organizations.

As a member of Gunderson’s executive team, Jodie leads the company’s human resources strategy with a focus on recruiting, employee development, retention, benefits and building programs that support GM&I's workforce and long-term growth. She is currently helping develop an employee training and development program designed to create clear career pathways for the skilled craftspeople working across Gunderson’s marine and complex fabrication operations.

Throughout her career, Jodie has led HR teams through periods of significant organizational growth and change, with extensive experience in talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, HR systems and acquisition integration. She has worked closely with executive leadership teams to build programs that strengthen workplace culture, develop employees and position organizations for continued growth.

Jodie holds certifications in Human Resource Management and Strategic Organizational Development from Portland State University and is HRCI certified.
