JOE HENRY

Joe Henry serves as Vice President of Preconstruction for Gunderson Marine & Iron and Advanced American Construction, bringing more than 18 years of experience in heavy civil construction, engineering and estimating.

A licensed Professional Engineer, Joe has extensive experience leading preconstruction and estimating efforts for complex infrastructure projects, including marine and heavy civil construction, bridges, transportation, transit, and water and wastewater facilities. His background includes project planning, constructability reviews, risk evaluation, cost estimating and alternative delivery projects.

Prior to joining Gunderson and AAC, Joe served as Estimating Manager at Stacy Witbeck, where his work included the Earthquake Ready Burnside Bridge Project in Portland. He previously spent 15 years with Shimmick Construction in engineering and estimating leadership roles.

Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.
