A historic morning on the Portland waterfront.

Last weekend, Gunderson Marine & Iron successfully launched two vessels simultaneously from our side launch ways,
Mt. Rainier and Cordova Provider II,
marking the first dual vessel launch in the company’s history.

The moment was the result of months of coordination across engineering, planning, production, safety, and launch teams. Watching both vessels enter the river together was a powerful reminder of the craftsmanship and teamwork that drive every project we build.

Mt. Rainier will support Tidewater’s refined products transportation network across the Columbia and Snake River systems, while Cordova Provider II will serve Lynden’s freight operations, delivering essential goods to communities in Alaska.
