Our team at Gunderson Marine & Iron had the opportunity to build Tidewater’s newest refined-liquid barge, Mt. Rainier.

Barges remain one of the most efficient, low-emission ways to move essential energy products, and Mt. Rainier will play a key role in strengthening the marine highway serving communities across the inland Northwest.

Proud of the craftsmanship and collaboration that made this moment possible. This fuel barge is one of four we’re building for Tidewater and we’re looking ahead to Mt. Rainier’s launch in spring 2026.
